Albert Einstein

""A human being is part of the whole, called by us 'Universe,' a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation, and a foundation for inner security"

"Never regard study as a duty, but as the enviable opportunity to learn to know the liberating
influence of beauty in the realm of the spirit for your own personal joy and to the profit of the
community to which your later work belongs."

"Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts."

"Teaching should be such that what is offered is perceived as a valuable gift and not as a hard duty ."

"Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value."

"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge."

Why?

Why don’t I pay more attention to my inner feelings to find out what we really want and then work passionately and patiently to achieve it instead of flying like a plane on autopilot with no course set up?
Why don’t I pay more attention to the feelings, passions, dreams and plans of the people around me so I can find how can I help them and how they can help me an find time to tell them so and more importantly listen to them ?

Sacrifice

There is a beautiful song by Elton John: Sacrifice where he sings It's no sacrifice at all... It's the best love song I've ever heard. Love might bring you pain but don't confuse it with sacrifice, it's not sacrifice, you're in it not for anyone's benefit but your own. It's all about you. And it's your responsibility. Yes it affects others but we can live together, love each other and work together towards common goals only if we know exactly what we want for ourselves, if we value ourselves with all the self-worth we are entitled too and it's a lot because God created us in their image. No less. So if I have this precious gift from God and if I honor God I can’t give it to someone else. It belongs to me it was given to me and me only and it's unique. And if you don't believe in God feel free to substitute God for Nature it's just the same.

Iran or Mexico? Which is a bigger foreign policy and security problem for the US?

I can't get rid of the impression after all the Iran hysteria in the media that it all plays in the hands of the Iranian hardliners. That gives the opportunity to pose as saviors against an imaginary American aggression. Anyway who cares about Iran. They have a nuclear and missile research program but are far from producing anything useful and it is possible that if Russia pulls the plug it will all fizzle out.
On the other side Mexico seems to slide if not straight into the hands of criminal cartels then in the best scenario into anarchy. Mexican drug cartels manage to kill more Americans than any Iranian connected group and frankly I believe that if the Iranians were anywhere near a nuclear bomb or a proper missile the Israelis would have bombed them by now.
I believe democracy and development in the world is of primary concern. France, Germany, Japan, and even China have far more developed nuclear and missile technology yet pose no threat (I simply don't know where to place Russian in this context: better technology than China but less development an I don't know how democracy in both countries can be described if at all). Why then Iran is a threat? Why Mexico? I believe because they are not democratic, not developed and most important their development is not tied up with the US economy the way China, Europe and Japan are.

Identity

I think identity is a thing of the past. I'm more interested in who (not what) a person is. But many people cling to and find illusionary security in some imagined national, religious, racial, class, caste or neighborhood belonging.
We only belong to ourselves. Anything else is from the devil used for exploitation by unethical personalities.
It's only individual identity that matters and that one is particularly hard to define. Maybe that's why many people prefer to adopt a ready made prefabricated one.

Fear

You can only fear what you don't understand. If you know what it is you'll find a way to deal with it no matter how scary. Rule from fear is based on the ignorant and forces ignorance on the rulers too that in turn brings their demise.
Arrogance is ignorance. Acknowledging errors and learning from them is the path to wisdom.

Globalization, New World Order, World Government and Prosperity

You can only be in charge of your own fate if you work towards it. It's not the government that gives you freedom you have freedom as a birth right but have to work constantly for it.to materialize.
Generally I believe that there should be no difference between the US government and a future World government like there is no much difference between the government of California and the US government though their is a difference between the Governor of California and the President of the US. That’s why I thing all cries against globalization and new world are unfounded and foolish. We can only fear what we don’t know. What we create ourselves cannot be scary for if we don’t like it we can remake it.
A proper government is essential for prosperity. The only proper government is a democratic government so the only legitimate world government is the one that helps us preserve and further our rights to life and the pursuit of happiness and if not we bring it down and forge another that will do that. I don't see any problem here. Tell me if I am wrong?

I believe:

I believe:
-That we people can only survive by cleverly pursuing our own interests.
-That the most intelligent way of pursuing one's interest is by cooperating with others.
-That stupidity is not a harmless quirk to be ridiculed, but a crime against humanity
-That life is a precious gift that we must strive to make better
-That to do so everyone must first know oneself one's deepest desires which are divine sparks of inspiration to guide us towards our purpose.
-That by striving to make one's life better you can truly appreciate this precious gift and love yourself, because how can you love your neighbour as you love yourself if your love for yourself is negligible, but if your love of yourself rises to the sky then your love for your neighbour could be just as great.
-And there is no greater profit for yourself than having the love and support of your neighbour the alternative being indifference just as death is indifferent or worse bent to harass or even destroy us which is the biggest danger because if his intelligence or not.
Because intelligence is bound to tend towards cooperation not conflict and war!
